As the temperature drops and the leaves change, we leave behind the fall season sports at Boulder City High School. The fall season had so many fun times from the energy at the football games to the fast-paced soccer pitches, creating memories which will never be forgotten.
The football season was filled with hard fought battles and nail-biting finishes. The season did not go as expected as our Boulder City Eagles ended the season at 2-8 and being 0-6 in our league. Although this season was disappointing, we had some moments that showed through, like our last second win over Sunrise Mountain HS.
Our soccer teams ended on better notes. The Boys Soccer Team made it to the first round of the playoffs but lost to Del Sol 1-3, ending the season 8-9-2 and 4th in our division. The Lady Eagles Soccer team made it all the way to the second round of the playoffs where they were defeated by Equipo 4-2. They ended the season with a 12-1-1 record and they were 1st in the league.
Boys tennis did incredible; getting state runner-ups and they ended the regular season 17-0. Following the dominant performance of Boys Tennis, Girls Tennis ended the regular season 16-1 and made it to the State Championship where they also finished as State runner-ups.
Last but not least, our Girls Golf team. Our Girls Golf team had an impressive season bringing home a State Championship, which was the 135th state championship Boulder City High School has earned.
We hope that the Winter Season of sports at BCHS has as much fun and success as the Fall Sports did.
