Steven Uzynski’s dedication and innovative approach have left a lasting mark on his highschool career. Steven loves coming to school everyday especially because it is his senior year. He plans on finishing it out strong. He wants to make the most of this year by doing the school activities and going out in the community more. Steven wants to go to the homecoming parade and the dance. Steven comes to school and loves learning science, which is his favorite subject. He says that he wants to continue learning science once he graduates. His friends and peers agree that he is a kind kid and enjoys helping others. Steven loves helping out as he is a student aid in an Algebra II class. He also has great grades, which are mostly A’s and some B’s. With the grades Steven has he plans on graduating high school and wants to go into the business industry. At the moment Steven has not decided where he wants to attend college.
Steven Uzynski puts the athlete in student athlete. In Steven’s first two football games he recorded 4 tackles. A quote that stuck with Steven and helped him throughout his sports career is, “Play every down like it’s your last. You never know when your last down of football will be”. He doesn’t just use that quote for football though because he also plays baseball for Boulder City High School. He has been playing baseball all of his highschool years. Steven’s best year was his sophomore year where he played catcher and 3rd Baseman. He played mostly on Varsity but also played some JV games. He recorded 8 runs and 8 hits on JV and 6 runs and 6 hits on Varsity. He also had 4 RBI on JV and 10 RBI on Varsity. Steven cannot wait for this baseball season where he strongly believes they can have a deep run into a winning state. Stevens remarkable contributions have left an indelible mark on the Boulder City community, inspiring others to follow in his footsteps.
