While our senior class displays just how kindhearted and helpful they are, one student stands out in particular. Senior Lyndsea Brown is an extremely considerate and thoughtful student. Throughout her high school career she has proven to be extremely kind to students all around our school. Whether Lyndsea is showing her kindness with her actions or her words she is always trying to impact others for the better.
As she grew up she truly learned the value of friendship and being kind to the people around her. Throughout her family experiences she learned that you never know what someone is going through so, you should always be kind, she tries to live by this daily.
When asked, “Kindness seems to be a big part of your life, how do you think that has personally affected you?” She said, “I’ve just always been a kind person and that’s what my parents have always taught me to be and it has definitely shown me that if you’re kind to others that they’ll be kind to you.”
As Lyndsea is getting closer to graduation, she is beginning to think about what her future holds after the cap and gown. Following graduation, Lyndsea hopes to go on a mission trip for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to further spread the gospel.
Considering kindness has always been majorly impactful on Lyndsea’s life, she has always seen herself pursuing a career in education. After she serves her mission she is planning to attend Utah Tech to further that goal. Following graduation, she is hoping to become a first grade teacher in Utah.
When asked who her biggest role models are she said, “My mom is a huge role model, she has taught me to be kind and to enjoy life to its fullest. Another person is my siblings, they have taught me to be brave and the importance of loyalty.”
Throughout Lyndsea’s life she has truly had some great accomplishments. Some of her favorites are keeping an A/B average all throughout school and getting a 100% on her drivers test.
Along with serving a mission, and becoming a first grade teacher, Lyndsea has one more goal she wants to accomplish in her life: she said, “I want to someday travel the world.”
Lastly I asked where do you see yourself in 5 years. She said, “I see myself in college in Utah.” As she continues to show her compassion for kindness, it leads her to her goals following graduation!
