New food places have popped up in and around the Boulder City area recently. Places like Fizz on Lake Mead Pkwy and PinkBox on Nevada Way.
Fizz is a delicious modern twist on the old soda fountain shop. They offer thousands of different drink and snack combinations. “Shirley Temple is the best drink on the menu” is what a BCHS newspaper writer Noah Lund had to say about the new store. Fizz is the largest soda shop chain in the nation with around 60 locations, including the new one that opened in November off of Lake Mead Pkwy.
Along with Fizz opening, Pinkbox Doughnuts is expanding and is expecting to open a new store on Nevada Way and Elm Street where the old 7/11 used to be. The location was expected to open in late 2024 but has no set date as of now. Pinkbox has 12 locations spreading through Nevada and Utah. Some of their popular flavors are Maple Bacon, Tutti Frutti, DoughCros, and classic maple bars.
These locations are a new way to try these fantastic drinks and snacks.
