As the spring weather rolls in and the winter weather rolls out, it’s the perfect time to take up the opportunity of having classes outside! Classes outside could be beneficial for many students and could make school a little bit more eventful.
Classes outside could be beneficial for some students, they feel they can focus better when in a calmer environment with fresh air and quiet. If we were doing classes outside students could get that calm and focusable environment.
Classes outside can also be beneficial for health. A recent study by Horizon Health News shows that children in 2024 only got 4-7 minutes of being outside per day. That is not ideal for children and could have lasting effects on them such as anxiety or being less content. It is also shown that students focus better with fresh air. Classes outside would help students get fresh air and help these students focus better, be happier, and less anxious.
However, some students would take advantage of this outside time. Usually, when students get a little bit more freedom they will mess around and won’t do their work. This could cause issues for both the teacher and student. These students would have to have self control so they could accomplish their work and have time outside.
Having classes outside would be a good addition to school. It can be very beneficial and exciting for students providing them with time outside and a calm environment to work in. What do you think, should we have classes outside or should we keep classes inside school?
