Our BCHS Choir has been putting in the work all year long. Our BCHS choir consists of many talented students that have been very dedicated. Choir is an involved and inviting elective, bringing together our students and helping show and explore the talents of students. The choir at BCHS is an elective that students can choose to be for one of their classes. This is a wonderful option and opportunity that any student is welcome to join!
The BCHS choir has many entertaining concerts and chances to perform. Choir includes an upcoming Christmas concert. At the christmas concert they will be performing Hallelujah, White Winter Hymnal, Hanukkah Hayom, Dj play a christmas song, and Benedicamus. We would love to see you there!
The music director, Dr. Holly is a wonderful teacher! He has doubled our choir program in just one year! He visits the middle school weekly to reach out to the incoming freshman to excite and inform them about the highschool choir class and encourages them to join. Recently the choir students took a trip to the local middle school to perform.
Junior, Teddi Kovacevich states, “Dr. Holly likes involving our choir in the community so it can grow. Last year at the choir festival we scored a 2! This is an amazing score because the highest score you can receive is a 1. While our choir only had 20 people, many others had 50.” This year the choir class is going on a trip to Disneyland. Dr. Holly takes the choir on many field trips and always keeps the choir very interesting and makes sure everyone has a fabulous time!
BCHS choir is an outstanding elective and such a great experience.
